Your application letter is your opportunity to sell yourself to a prospective employer. Your resume should contain cold, hard facts about your job background, but your cover letter present a chance to tell a potential employer why you are the right prson for the open position.It’s also a good way of showcasing your writing skills. As well as with writing a good CV can be one of the toughest challenges of job hunting. Most employers spend just a few seconds scanning each CV before sticking it in the “Yes” or “No” pile. But never fear! I am try compiled our top 13 hints on how to show the world “this is me!” and get that all important interview.
1.      A successful Job Application or CV is always carefully and clearly presented and printed on clean, crisp white paper. The layout should always be clean and well structured and Job Application and CV should never be crumpled or folded, so use an A4 envelope to post your application.
2.      Always remember the Job Application and CV hotspot the upper middle area of the first page is where the recruiter’s eye will naturally fall, so make sure you include your most important infrmation there. And also, employers receive dozens of Job Applicationts and CVs all the time so it’s unlikely they’ll read each one cover to cover.So for Job Appication and CV a maximum of two pages of A4 paper.
3.      Understand the job description because the clues are in the job application, so read the details from start to finish. Take notes and create bullet points, highlighting everything you can satisfy and all the bits you can't.

These could include: communication skills; computer skills; team working; problem solving or even speaking a foreign language. Skills can come out of the most unlikely places, so really think about what you've done to grow your own skills.

6.      Making the most of interests with highlight the things that show off skills you've gained and employers look for. Describe any examples of positions of responsibility, working in a team or anything that shows you can use your own initiative. Include anything that shows how diverse, interested and skilled you are. Don't include passive interests like watching TV, solitary hobbies that can be perceived as you lacking in people skills. Make yourself sound really interesting.
